Teacher helps raise $20,000 for teen diagnosed with cancer

Middle-school student Leanna Tran, 14, has been undergoing chemotherapy since March, and while she had already completed the necessary academic requirements, she feared she would be unable to participate in the graduation ceremony. But she became her school's first 2009 graduate, rolling across the stage after it was announced that more than $20,000 has been raised for treatment of her bone cancer in an effort sparked by a teacher.
