VMware boosts virtual performance with vSphere

Users of VMware's new vSphere virtualization platform report that the software offers users faster I/O throughput and simplified virtual mapping functionality, allowing firms greater flexibility from their remote storage servers. According to Software-as-a-Service provider TradeBeam, which has been using vSphere since November, the design allows the company to better manage its cloud resources and cut down on wasted server space.
