ASIAS gathers data to identify aviation safety risks

The Commercial Aviation Safety Team continues to improve the safety of air travel in the U.S. The latest enhancement to the program attempts to identify safety risks before they occur with the Aviation Safety Information Analysis and Sharing system. The ASIAS gathers data from 46 government and industry databases, and is planned to grow to 64 databases by 2013.
