Boeing flies 787 Dreamliner outfitted with GE engine

Boeing flew a 787 Dreamliner powered by a General Electric engine for the first time. Previous Dreamliners were powered by an engine built by Rolls-Royce. Tom Brisken, general manager of the GEnx engine program, said the Dreamliner is close to realizing its goal of a 20% boost in fuel efficiency.
