Daily Economic Indicator: Economists expect moderate growth

Economists from leading financial firms said moderate economic growth likely will continue. However, the bank executives remain concerned about the unemployment rate. Stuart Hoffman, chief economist at PNC Financial Services Group, noted that more than 500,000 jobs were created in the private sector in the first five months of 2010. He said growth in the sector is key to "self-sustaining economic expansion."
