Florida to get solar-gas hybrid power plant

An existing natural gas energy facility is to be joined with a new 500-acre solar array in Indiantown, Fla., creating the world's first solar-gas hybrid power plant. The site will use solar energy to supply power during daylight hours and switch over to gas once the sun sets.
