HSR could be boon to Wisconsin employment

An $823 million proposal that would connect several Midwest cities via high-speed rail could provide as many as 9,000 job in Wisconsin, according to members of the Wisconsin Public Interest Research Group. Members also noted the fuel-efficiency of passenger rail, and several lawmakers support the project.
