Manufacturing is still leading economic rebound

Output at factories, mines and utilities posted 1.2% growth in May, as the manufacturing sector continued to lead the economic recovery. Federal Reserve data show that capacity utilization, the amount a plant is in use, rose to 74.7% in May from 73.7% in April. The situation benefits companies such as Deere, which reported that sales of utility tractors increased last month.
