Report: Diabetes is linked to higher risk of some cancers

People with Type 2 diabetes may be at higher risk for some cancers, including liver, pancreatic, colorectal and breast, according to a consensus report by the American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association. Researchers said they are not sure, however, whether Type 2 diabetes leads to the increased risk or whether shared factors, such as obesity, may be to blame.
