Calif. teacher develops handheld-computer application

A sixth-grade teacher in California has created an application that can be used on the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch that helps teachers call on students at random and ask questions based on their individual skill levels. The app, created by Buzz Garwood, suggests questions that range from easy to difficult and tracks student responses.
