20-year-old fraud indictment prompts FINRA exec to quit

Mitchell Atkins, a regional director of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, has resigned after a 1993 indictment for theft and fraud was brought to the attention of FINRA executives, including CEO Richard Ketchum. Atkins led District 7, which is based in Florida.
