Chains strive to make their food look more homemade

Restaurant chains including Domino's, McDonald's and Wendy's are shifting away from uniform-looking food in favor of pizza crusts that look handmade, egg whites that don't fit the old mold and square burgers with softer edges. The shift comes as consumers eschew food that looks overly processed and opt for meals that have a healthier homemade look.
