CKE posts growth despite economic uncertainties

CKE Restaurants has increased revenues by 3.6% over the past year and expanded its international locations by more than 15% annually for the past three under CEO Andy Puzder, who took charge of the company more than a decade ago. However, Puzder said the competitors of the Carl's Jr. and Hardee's parent are struggling because of uncertain labor costs, commodity and food prices, taxes and the Affordable Health Care Act, which he said could cause restaurants to start replacing workers with kiosks.
