Netflix scores 300 hours of kid vid from DreamWorks

Netflix has struck one of its most extensive original-content deals, an exclusive multiyear arrangement with DreamWorks Animation that will provide the online streaming-video company with more than 300 hours of content. The companies made the announcement Monday but did not disclose financial terms. The deal reflects Netflix's desire to enter into exclusive programming deals as opposed to buying huge blocks of library content, such as the cache of shows from Nickelodeon, MTV and BET that the provider recently lost.
