Nutritious, accessible product key to Chobani's success, founder says

Chobani founder Hamdi Ulukaya spent 18 months living in his newly-purchased yogurt plant in upstate New York before emerging with the Greek yogurt cup he planned to sell, the entrepreneur said in an interview. Ulukaya lacked a business degree and managerial experience when he launched the company, so he credits his success to his gut instincts and the product. "I think we had the right approach, which was making a delicious, nutritious, natural and accessible product," he said.
