Obama signs animal-health bill into law

The Animal Drug and Animal Generic Drug User Fee Reauthorization Act of 2013 was recently signed into law by President Barack Obama. The law calls for a more effective federal review process for generic and new animal medications. "Today we have good news for American families and farmers," said Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich. "These programs that help keep animals healthy and bring new drugs to market will continue without interruption."
