Rotavirus vaccines show high efficacy rates

The efficacy rates of RV1 and RV5 rotavirus vaccines in children aged 8 months and older were 91% and 92%, respectively, according to a study published in the journal Pediatrics. The findings were based on all children who were admitted at one of five hospitals in Georgia and Connecticut for severe diarrhea.
