Solar plane set for last leg of cross-continent flight

An entirely solar-powered plane has landed at Washington's Dulles Airport after a cross-continent trip and awaits only the last leg of its journey to New York. The Solar Impulse has flown both day and night, proving "the reliability and potential of clean technologies, and this is crucial in pushing our message forward," Swiss pilot Bertrand Piccard said.
