Calif. school to add intervention period to weekly schedule

A California high school will add a bi-weekly study hall to its schedule to help provide academic interventions to students. "It is intended as a period during the day where students receive more individualized attention, opportunities for enhanced learning and generally to allow for extra time for student learning," Superintendent Matthew Roberts said.
