Company wants to build commercial terminal at Wash. airport; opponents head to court

A New York company has submitted a letter of intent to county officials to build a two-gate commercial terminal at Washington's Paine Field. The Federal Aviation Administration approved commercial flights from the airport in 2012. Opponents of commercial aviation at Paine Field say jet traffic could interrupt aerospace manufacturing and general aviation, and they are set to argue their case in the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals this week.
