Epic to fly E1000 in Oct., plans sales push at NBAA

Epic Aircraft plans to fly its new E1000 single-engine turboprop for the first time in October. The E1000 is a certificated, factory-built version of the of the Epic LT kit plane. The company also plans to expand its sales and marketing campaign at the National Business Aviation Association Convention in Orlando, Fla. "We want to expand our customer base to include corporate owners and charter operators," said Mike Schrader, Epic's director of sales.
