GAO calls for more oversight of applications for free, reduced-price meals

The Government Accountability Office is calling on the U.S. Department of Agriculture to do more to verify data provided on some applications for free and reduced-price school meals. Specific recommendations include giving schools examples of questionable applications that should prompt a review of eligibility.
