Mass. 6th-graders show expertise on the ancient world

Sixth-graders in a Massachusetts middle school wrapped up their social studies class with a showcase of ancient world history. The students made an exhibit of their presentations -- ranging from a song about the Trojan War to models of the Parthenon and Mayan pyramid El Castillo. Students wrote a report and chose among four options for the visual part of their projects. "They are expected to be experts on the subject," teacher Brett Duncan said.
