Metro to take stake in Canadian bakery chain

Canadian supermarket chain Metro is buying a 75% stake in Quebec-based bakery chain Premiere Moisson, for an undisclosed amount. The bakery's family owners will manage the 23-store chain, which currently does about 20% of its $100 million in annual sales to Metro. The deal will finance Premiere Moisson's expansion plans.
