Pa. Alzheimer's plan gets governor's support

The Pennsylvania Plan for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders has won support from Gov. Tom Corbett, who said getting an Alzheimer's diagnosis was heart-breaking and life-changing for patients and families. The plan calls for increased awareness about the health, social and financial effects of Alzheimer's; better support for family and unpaid caregivers; and research toward treatments, a cure and prevention.
