Unlicensed spectrum is worth $62B a year to U.S. economy, CEA says

Unlicensed wireless spectrum annually provides $62 billion in value to the U.S. economy, according to the Consumer Electronics Association. Wi-Fi connectivity and wireless local-area networks account for more than $20 billion of that total, the CEA said. The Federal Communications Commission is currently considering whether to offer more unlicensed spectrum.
