NASA readying Centennial Challenges program

NASA is working with industry representatives on its Centennial Challenges program, which offers prizes for advances in technologies that will support NASA's new space initiative. Program manager Brant Sponberg said he expects congressional authorization for the prizes, but that NASA would also look for private co-sponsors for the program.
