GSK plans to launch five cancer drugs by 2010

GlaxoSmithKline expects to launch five new cancer drugs within the next three years, the firm announced. By 2010, GSK expects to be marketing Promacta to reduce bleeding and help cancer patients build up their platelet count; Ofatumumab, an antibody to treat leukemia; Cervarix for cervical cancer; Pazopanib for renal cancer; and Rezonic for chemotherapy nausea.
