Workers' comp opens up in West Virginia

Employers in West Virginia will be able to shop around for workers' compensation policies in a few weeks because the state has opened the market to dozens of new insurers. State Insurance Commissioner Jane Cline said the move is good for employers because they will be "able to look to different carriers that have different expertise in safety programs and risk management for that type of employer."
