Business is like farming a lot of land with just a little seed, writes Seth Godin: Scatter the seed as far as possible and you'll have to work harder for a lower yield. Likewise, he argues that time and money are most effective when they're concentrated on one area, whether it's advertising, PR or social media. "You punch through the clutter when you allocate more resources and more dedication than everyone else," Godin writes.
