Health groups support implementation of tobacco restrictions

The American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association are anticipating the implementation of new rules on tobacco marketing, which, among other things, will ban the sale of cigarettes to people younger than 18. "These new rules will support the association's goals to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by the year 2020 and reduce heart disease and stroke death rates linked to tobacco use," the AHA said.
