Proposed ethanol pipeline promises 50,000 building jobs

An ethanol producer and pipeline company want to team up on a project to pipe corn-based ethanol from the Midwest to key markets on the East Coast. Ethanol maker Poet and Magellan Midstream Partners say the proposed 1,700-mile pipeline would cost $3.5 billion and create some 50,000 construction jobs.
