Some California dairies stand to gain from higher milk prices

On-farm milk prices in California are moving up 13 cents, to about $1.49 a gallon. Rob Vandenheuval, executive director of the Milk Producers Council of California, said the increase means moderate profits for Class 1 milk producers, but most farmers in the state still won't come out ahead.
