Study: Employees will shoulder more health care costs

More than 40% of employers plan to require workers to foot more of the bill for their health care coverage such as requiring higher deductibles, a PricewaterhouseCoopers survey of 700 companies found. Such moves by employers will "cause more employees to think about how they use [medical] services," said Michael Thompson, a PwC principal.
