Brazilian oyster farmers are going green

Oyster farmers in Brazil's Bay of Guaratuba are switching from harvesting wild oysters to using sustainable farming methods. That preserves wild oyster stocks, helps the environment and bolsters affiliated industries, supporters say. "Nowadays if you go there, you see a culture that involves much more than production; it involves environmental education, restaurants, tourism," says researcher Antonio Ostrensky.
