CDC: Smoking rate for adults drops to 18%

The percentage of adults who smoke declined from about 19% in 2010 and 2011 to 18% last year, ending a seven-year smoking rate stall, CDC researchers reported on Tuesday. Smoking rates were higher in men than in women in all age groups, according to the report.
