Energy companies look to boost engineer hires

More work in the energy industry and a raft of impending retirements mean a heavy schedule of engineer hiring in the latter half of the year, according to this article. Nearly half of the U.S.-focused energy companies surveyed said they plan to boost hiring efforts, with the biggest demand expected for mechanical engineers. Hiring managers also report job candidates are demanding higher pay.
