Facebook will put off video ad format to mid-October

Facebook is putting off the introduction of video ads until mid-October, according to a source, the second delay of the format's introduction. The social network reportedly needs more software development on features related to the ad product that will be released concurrently. In other news, Facebook says it had a million active advertisers in the past 28 days, a company first, reflecting success in attracting small businesses.
