Martinsburg, Pa., loses its sole full-serve grocery store

Ed's Riverside grocery store in Martinsburg, Pa., is going out of business as consumers switch to big box stores, leaving the community without a full-service grocery store. Ed's Riverside, which opened in 1975 and was the only supermarket in the area since at least 1990, was popular with older residents and Mennonite farmers, who traveled there by horse-drawn buggies.
