Microsoft promotes new native ad formats for Windows 8

Microsoft is introducing native ad formats today at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity that it hopes will seed the Windows 8 ecosystem. The formats were created in conjunction with All Saints, Dell, Universal McCann and VML, among others, and include the use of what Microsoft calls "parallax view," in which the eyes of people within the ads seem to follow consumers as they scroll by.
