RFA's White: Get the facts on ethanol and motorcycles

There's no need for misfueling concerns for motorcycles as E15 becomes available to the public, writes Robert White, the Renewable Fuel Association's director of market development. White, who has been riding motorcycles for 23 years, writes that the Environmental Protection Agency has seen to it that E15 is clearly labeled at fueling stations, and E10 is approved for use by riders. The RFA has a new fact sheet about E15 and motorcycles to help educate riders, he writes. "Ethanol continues to be a discount to gasoline providing the least expensive octane source on the market, along with serving as a gasoline extender. This ultimately lowers the price at the pump for all of us," White writes.
