Study evaluates silver nanoparticle dressing with NPWT

Negative-pressure wound therapy decreased methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus in rat wounds more rapidly when wounds were dressed with a silver ion-containing polyurethane foam dressing compared with either NPWT alone or a 10% povidone-iodine solution. The findings were published in the journal Wounds.
