Study: Small businesses could benefit from paid sick leave in flu season

Small businesses could promote employee health by offering paid time off to workers who come down with the flu, according to a study by the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. The study found that, overall, the incidence of flu could be reduced nearly 6% if paid sick leave was a universal policy.
