Online mapping project focuses on Inuit trails

An online atlas known as the Pan Inuit Trails project details centuries-old travel routes used by Canada's Inuit population. "While many associate a single, squiggly line with the Northwest Passage, Inuit elders showed us, with great precision, how those trails intersect and join places where Inuit have lived," University of Cambridge geographer Michael Bravo said.
