PepsiCo opens baking R&D facility in Mexico

PepsiCo's first research-and-development center in Mexico will focus on creating better-for-you products for the Quaker, Gamesa, Sabritas and Lay's brands, among others. The plant is part of the company's $5 billion investment in the country for the next five years and joins other "centers of excellence" in Texas, Illinois and New York.
