Statistical breakdown finds 4 kinds of fibromyalgia patients

Mayo Clinic researchers created four groupings for fibromyalgia patients based on the severity of core symptoms such as pain, functioning, sleep and depression. The groupings were low symptom intensity, moderate intensity with little negative mood, moderate with more negative mood, and high intensity. Dr. Charles Argoff of Albany Medical College said the research may help people realize fibromyalgia is more like a spectrum than a single condition.
