White House marks first National Day of Making

Nearly three dozen exhibits -- some by students as young as 13 -- were on display Wednesday during the first White House Maker Faire. The event was held to promote science, technology, engineering and math. President Obama announced initiatives to support manufacturing and invention, including a $2.5 million competition to support local makers.
