Judge orders Wal-Mart to reopen meat-cutting operations

A National Labor Relations Board judge yesterday ruled that Wal-Mart Stores violated the law by refusing to bargain with employees of its meat-cutting operations. The judge misapplied the law in ordering the company to bargain with meat workers and to reopen meat-cutting operations, Wal-Mart's lawyers said.
