Development moves to outer cities as Chinese economy booms

Planners and developers in China are looking beyond the big metropolises to secondary cities as the economy booms there. The city of Qingpu, for instance, has been the site of recent heavy foreign investment, and companies including Dupont, Hitachi and Honeywell are all planning to bring architectural modernization with light manufacturing plants.
