Gang counselor helps teens change their futures

Christopher Yanov was growing frustrated seeing smart children transforming into gang members, and in 2001 started a one-on-one tutoring program with SAT reviews and a college-prep course. While Yanov had just four students in 2001, he now enrolls 90, with 50 waiting for a spot to open.
